Found some old pictures of the first paid gig I got, playing in a van halen cover band. Each of us got $300 back in 2006 for playing at a local festival event. I was convinced at that moment that we were going to be famous (we did make top 100 in canada one time 🤣)

I'd end up playing with 7 other bands for the next 5 years before going to university and leaving that life behind me. I'm glad I did, that kid was an idiot.
