Can we stop porting Twitter stuff to nostr please?
#FollowFriday and "like, comment, tag two friends and share this note to....." are very Twitter. You can do better.

We need to export the nostr reply guy to Xitter..
he'd get lost in the flood of other bots. At this rate bots will be the only X users soon enough
The amount of engagement on Twitter from this kind of nonsense is crazy
Accounts that add zero value to anyone get tens of thousands in ad revenue each month for saying things like "RT if you're unvaccinated and still alive"
Completely broken model
Yeah just engagement farming. I left twitter and I don't need the same noise on nostr. We can do better than copying everything from there.
Follow Friday is potentially useful, if used properly lol.
Tbh these are the least annoying twitterisms nostr has brought over. Nostr has brought over pretty much an identical version of bitcointwitter in-joke culture. I won't bother listing them, but it's everywhere.
We have zapathon for that and it's more fun π€£
thats fedi/mastod stuff lol
YOU ARE NOW SUBSCRIBED TO CAT FACTS

I think, be you, be unique is the way.
If you can do this like, comment stuff in a fun way, then do it.
If not, make something, that is fun, kind, awesome, that is you.
This is why NOSTR is better.
I create a feed with plebs that post their own content. I hardly see any of that crap
Agreed. Me neither unless that crap gets shared by people I'm following already.
So we should not encourage people on Twitter to come here because we don't like how they act on Twitter π€
That's not the point. My point is that we can have our own follow events like Zapathon, the GMs etc. Your twisting my words
Fym? Nostr is literally based on Twitter
Use a version of nostr that's based on reddit if you don't want to see Twitter type shit
I use noStrudel which is basically a full fledged NIP standard supporting client. So yes, I have reddit style communities on my clients, Medium style blog posts, Twitch style streams and videos etc etc. nostr is much more than a Twitter clone unless you're a Primal user, then you're stuck with a twitter clone.
So you're seeing "like comment tag two friends and share this note to..." type stuff on a reddit type platform in the nostr ecosystem? I doubt it, I assume you're talking about the twitter type part of nostr
But the "version of nostr that's based on reddit" I mentioned doesn't exist yet, people only pretend it does. If you're seeing that type of stuff on nostr's version of so-called "reddit" that's because it isn't based on reddit to the extent of having the actual functionality which resulted in reddit's content quality back when it was good
