The EU is one of the most successful scams in our history. They're creating unbacked currency to purchase countries. In the process they're absorbing the currency and economy of each nation by pushing their worthless shitcoin on them. The first enterprise to ever expand their territory in this manner while making every absorbed nation instantly completely dependant and obedient to them. if you think of it, it's brilliant (just not for the people).
