Would nostr support any sort of dynamic or “turn-based game” note requesting functionality?
Two use cases come to mind:
- “choose your own adventure” stories, where if a set of previously drafted notes had been published somewhere, then how you engage with one note might trigger a “release” of various additional notes.
- Dungeons & dragons-style interactive game experience. Perhaps hosted on a dedicated relay
I thought of this as I was drifting off to sleep. Curious if it’s possible 🤔

I started nostr:npub1l6jqp0h7kkl3zkck2a0zza4lhk8m32ueskkpwzkmgq4l3jymn59q7ezyfy sometime last Summer. It uses AI to generate the entire game rounds. I first focused on solo games, but found that people liked the group games better where who ever answered first decided the next round. If the game is won, all players split a zap pool. I still have it going now, but have definitely seen fewer players than probably when it peaked in the Fall.
Wait dude this is so cool. Adding the AI element is brilliant too. Is there a way to create a game or visit wait for the account to start a new one? Just followed the game npub and will keep an eye out for a new game when im online 🤙🤙
