It's good to clean your contact lists from time to time, remove old Nostriches that are no longer active, making room for new Nostriches to be added. Then, go find new Nostriches to follow!
What do I mean? Some clients and relays don't play nicely with very large contact lists. If you're follow 1000 npubs or even 1500 npubs, sometimes you may experience issues. Some clients and relays might truncate your contact list.
So, it's good to keep them clean. That's at least my philosophy.

Whenever I see a note about something like this I want to try it, but then I'll see a note about all follows being wiped from some relay confusion and go back to my "don't touch it" conservatism. 😅
Agreed. I always use this tool or others just to check who's inactive but then I do the cleanup myself. I just login with my npub too

Use with caution! This nuked most of my active follow list and I had to restore them. Fortunately nostr:npub1n0stur7q092gyverzc2wfc00e8egkrdnnqq3alhv7p072u89m5es5mk6h0 keeps a local backup.
