A raspberry pi 5 8gb costs $70. A 32gb sd card is $10 bucks. Umbrel and Start9 are open source. Running a full bitcoin node costs you less than $100. Please consider running a node.

Another nice option is to buy second hand PCs, like the Thinkpad m700. A cheap 1TB ssd is around 60-70)
