I guess I'll try it- I went with a getalby wallet. It's still all foreign to me though.

One small benefit of being an early adopter of nostr is that you get access to very knowledgeable bitcoiners who are happy to help with any question you might have along the way. That access isn’t really available on any other platforms.

Well, I never really gave bitcoin stuff much of a thought before, and this nostr thing isn't really giving me a desire to either. I didn't come here for that type of thing. I'm not yet sure what I'm suppose to get out of all this, except perhaps a belief that I'm a part of something new for social media. Whether it amounts to anything, I can't tell yet.

Yep fair. Hope you can find some content on here that you enjoy as adoption continues to rise.

Thanks! I'll see how it goes. One thing that has been weird for me is how some stuff doesn't always load.. or how there might not be any notifications for things like replies, etc. Like sometimes I don't even see that there is a reply to one of my posts until I go directly to my post. I'm not sure if it's just bugs in the clients or what. I don't know which client is best either.

Sorry if the Bitcoin stuff seemed pushy. Nostr just aligns very well with the values of Bitcoin and you'll probably see a lot of talk about it if you stick around. If you aren't interested you'll probably not want to stick around. I sent you 100 sats anyway. That's worth about $0.03 and I was able to send it to you practically anonymously, across any border, and with almost no friction. I could have sent a lot more if I wanted. If the ability to do that doesn't pique your interest about Bitcoin at least a little bit, then I don't know what will.
