Maybe, but a lot of people will die on hills you think would be silly or nuts for someone to defend to the death - only so that they aren’t “wrong”, and therefore might have to reconsider their inability to logic through an issue with humility towards another.
Why else would there be war?
I have to agree with you on that. There is no shortage of examples in the history of this fucking world.
