1. Go to Damus settings.

2. Under Translations, select DeepL and click Get API Key which opens their website.

3. Sign up for an account. It’ll ask for a credit card but it’s used to make sure you’re a unique customer and creating multiple accounts to get around their limits.

4. Once you’ve signed up, in the DeepL Account settings on their website, go to the Account tab.

5. Near the bottom of the page, you should see “Authentication Key for DeepL API”. Copy the key and paste it into the Damus DeepL settings.

6. Tap into a note that is in a different language than yours and it should show the Translate Note button.
