Btw you only have good sender privacy if you run your own LN node. The way most user use lightning is not good for privacy (custodians and LSPs)
But if you are hiding in a mint that doesn’t matter, does it?

Maybe you're right. You can just generate a lightning invoice to receive ecash directly into the mint right?
Yes. And as far as I know not even the mint (so nobody) doesn’t know who receives the ecash.
