good ole irc.efnet.org was my home for many, many years.

dalnet, kidsworld and a bit on undernet.

i wasn't a fan the chanserv bots on dalnet. i did use irc.mtv.com for a bit until all of us script kiddies ruined it 😂 then it was back to efnet.

I'm using astral. are there clients that don't handle emojis?

im not sure? i saw a very ASCII / text based looking client at one point.
