Three instances of nostrcheck running on different #thenostr users servers 💜

My part of the deal is done, just need some clients to take a chance on NIP96 and the magic is done.

For those who don't know, NIP96 allows you to add and remove media servers in a similar way as we do now with relays. Nostrcheck server can be installed in your home server to be sovereign of your data (with all its potential, NIP05, lightning redirections, multimedia hosting, etc).

I think this is something very necessary for the protocol. What would happen if tomorrow one of the existing media providers closes down? We cannot leave this centralized.

definitely good2know and also many running ipfs can possibly integrate with local nostrcheck instance

Of course, and I also believe that other installable servers like nostrcheck should emerge so as not to depend only on my project. I imagine a future with thousands of multimedia servers with different instances of different software competing to be the best.

I think this, besides being necessary, is disruptive for the protocol. I believe in it and I will not stop until I get it or the #thenostr’s CEO kicks me out 😂😂😂
