Fire season. Every year around july my whole state seems to be on fire. Fucks with backpacking plans.

Yeah...i'm gonna stick with my hurricanes
Side question, how many years did this happen until it was DECLARED A FUCKING SEASON?!
Lmao. I'm not entirely sure when I started calling it fire season. I know that firefighters call July the start of fire season, or at least some wilderness firefighters I know.
Things have been kind of getting worse though mostly due to drought. Especially in the last five years or so.
Based on some assumptions of that location, could draining the water sources from the northern part of your state to turn the southern desert into a man made oasis possibly contributed? Didnt yall just have storms that caused flooding and filled all the resevoirs?
Not sure where you think I am. 😅 im in oregon.
