We would mow a small baseball field where the home run was into the grass, but the rule was if you dove into the grass and caught it, it was an out.

This field is so dynamic. Covered in snow, spring pond, tadpols, frogs, ducks, swans, moose ..fades to tall grasses and we bale it.
