We would mow a small baseball field where the home run was into the grass, but the rule was if you dove into the grass and caught it, it was an out.
This field is so dynamic. Covered in snow, spring pond, tadpols, frogs, ducks, swans, moose ..fades to tall grasses and we bale it.

i feel like a powerful generational blessing on you in that. ive never really come across that before so i cant quite identify it. its like a spiritual gift of understanding and loving the land. way stronger than anything i’ve felt. what a beautiful gift.
Yes, that s true, it was my great grand father's property. I am blessed to be of a place. Most are refugees of some sort, never learning the lovely details. I plant off of the wild flower emergence.
