I have zero regrets buying a made in Germany Rowenta. Mine is a pro master, I've had it for a while and it works like new, no water spitting. Only use distilled water in it. Good luck on your search! May the odds be ever in your favor π

yeap! I have this same exact one. it only spits when I try to iron with it before it finishes heating up. so, user error π it doesn't even take long to heat up, I'm just impatient.
I also only use distilled water. I've destroyed so many irons with hard water build up.
Yes, I couldn't figure out what the spots were on my clothes when I was ironing. It was burnt junk coming out the steam holes from the water π.
