Frens,

there are so many great new projects on Geyser that deserve more visibility...

How should we spotlight them on Geyser?

We do our part by helping to promote it through the various channels that we have. But they should also showcase their own value and build relationships with the public as well.

You could do what i do in the Nodeyez panel for Geyser and allow for randomly showing any project in a category or set of categories. This elevates visibility of lesser known projects as well as older projects. At the time I built that while at TabConf last year Geyser was still focused on only new projects or those already popular.

Great idea! We could totally show some random projects in a row of 4 categories.

FWIW.. your nip05 is failing as /.well-known/nostr.json is not setup right

It's working for me

Consider adding a carousel, also on mobile, where the main page, when it shows e.g. Featured, has e.g. 3 projects instead of 1. Additionally, maybe an option with 'Similar' projects (after going to the page of a given project, at the very bottom under Details there may be 1-3 tiles with Similar Themes). Plus:

You have a lot of different tags, sometimes it's hard to find something, especially since each project can use more than 1. Maybe think about adding an option to preview these filters, e.g. to put them in bunches but also to show those frequently used (name xxx projects), least used (name projects) etc., if you add this to, for example, an advanced search page where there are also categories, e.g. Films - sample tags: e.g. videomaking xxx-number projects, youtube xxx-number projects, community xxx-number projects, if, for example, there are films that also used this tag) + a preview of, for example, 1-3 completely new projects in this category, 1-3 most frequently supportedbin this category, it should be easier for the user to see what is where how many itemts etc.

Apart from the above (development of your platform) also think about cooperation with other projects that produce content (from live sessions, to articles, magazines (fyi nostr:nprofile1qqsz7h0qqq7msnkd23y39q6scek8ld37n5pty5xcftuy733797duaugpzamhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuurjd9kkzmpwdejhgtcyhn35u with his Bitesize, podcasts etc.). A simple example that you recently saw on X: on nostr:nprofile1qqsqhc9tsz9vuh2j3zvlf80zcl278ef24lv34mn2augzg3hkkmpttrqpp4mhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mqpr9mhxue69uhkummnw3ezumrfvfex2mr9v9nzucm0d5q3jamnwvaz7tmwwpex77re9e4hy6tnw3shqumt9ek8vpn5pj5

where I added a category of pages "Support" with Geyser, various child/family friendly projects from your site (https://www.bitcoin4youth.com/tag/crowdfunding-with-bitcoin-projects-focused-on-kids/). I think that more than just JuniorClub would be happy to help with something like this - publish sth from Geyser on their platform/in their ecosystem. Think: Ladies groups, artists, films (which anyway we do quite often with nostr:nprofile1qqspe93c0rqxkfg6rn3jeepunt4fl28e0fxhrzsg22ce79akcfd0ewspz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduhsz8thwden5te0dehhxarj9e3xjarrda5kuetj9eek7cmfv9kz7qg4waehxw309aex2mrp0yhxummnw3ezucn89ulxdtza mentioning various projects with Geyser on socials or/and in the newsletter) etc. Try to collaborate with more people. Find 2-3 podcasts that e.g. once a month do a special session with Geyser and one-two projects, where you have a great chance to show others, what is up/why etc + bring fresh topics to a Show. nostr:nprofile1qqsgkz3tatmwhmujt688378s4kjp77ychrd892yhrwye3zlhs47nd8cpzamhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuurjd9kkzmpwdejhgtcc7tftp is already doing great work with recordings introducing new projects, but it can be expanded using the existing ecosystem, i.e. cooperation with podcasts. I have many other ideas, I don't mean to write a book here for now, so enough with these, hehehe 😋

One last: considering building (almone or with someone, maybe my husband could help) a few to access page similar to this one https://nostrends.vercel.app/ (OS report page with different stats etc Tending on Geyser) and link it with your main platform: it'd be a cool extra to send to others showing them what's up with Geyser, also a very unique source for anyone who'd like to talk about your stuff and it's trends (journalists, publishers, other projects - see the above note about others mentioning collab with others to highlight what's on Geyser)

Great feedback Aza! We're already in good touch with Sean from Bitesize, and of course with you guys at BFF. But I love the idea of working together on a monthly basis to check out what is happening on Geyser.

I'd love to do monthly twitter spaces / nostr nests to see what has been happening on/in Geyser/Bitcoin this month.
