I will admit, the transition of thinking of bitcoin as your denominatior for everything is a hard and lengthy process. But it just takes some imagination and critical thinking to see the potential.

Agreed, or an external threats

that provides a lived experience that demonstrates the need for censorship resistant money. Need and pain are great motivators.
