I’m beta testing the rectal probe.
Why?
Because I just got a new one and I had Touch ID before. Scanning my face seems weird and insecure. Just wanted to see what the community thinks about it. But many phones are moving towards this.
It’s a huge inconvenience to type in my passwords manually on a brand new phone.
Face ID will be revolutionary.
Think of how many times you open your phone in a day.
How long does a fingerprint take? 1 second? Three seconds?
Let’s say two. 1 to open, and then another to get both hands on the phone to use.
100 opens a day x 2 seconds = 200 seconds
200/60= 3.33 minutes per day!
3.33x365 = 1216 minutes or 20hrs.
Every year you spend almost a day opening your phone through the fingerprint.
Pretty eye opening, eh?
i don't use face id
what's the android one, fingerprints? where does that information go and who owns it(?)
Nostr on iPhone is like coinjoin on Windows...🙈🤦
