And the idea of recreating Hyves on Nostr definitely crossed my mind a couple of times;-) If anyone wants to do that I’m sure the old team will endorse it.

As a concept on paper I already worked it out, next step would be writing code for it (but I’m very short on time doing a lot of Nostr stuff at the moment) 🤓

They know. And I don’t think any of us would have the ambition to rebuild it ourselves, but happy to support efforts in that direction! If Nostr would have been around 15 years ago we would have supported it.
😎 I agree, I was looking for a solution like Nostr too when I was searching for a (distributed) storage location where HVSbackup could store the downloaded data for the future..
That said, it makes me very curious how your (technical) vision would be when you (Hyves) would rebuild it now (with Nostr).
