What's the use case? As a backup of your notes?
Local relays works perfectly as cache, fast access to all notes you've seen, local search, offline mode, etc

Ah, yeah. But then your client must know that it must use it as a cache (taking notes from other relays and storing them in the local one), not a standard relay, right?
