They should make an extra battery pack which you can mount on the back (just like you can mount a GPU component on this device)

Yeah I learned that Thinkpads used to have hot-swappable batteries. Would be a great thing now, especially if combined with efficient ARM chips.
There are some default settings to change. Not sure for Fedora, but on Ubuntu I had to tweak CPU and sleep settings.
Whatβs your average time usage before your battery is empty?
depends on the workload of course, but easily a full workday.
Funny thing, I have a Pinephone Pro with an ARM chip (if I'm right( which battery is empty after 3 hours of doing nothing with PostmarketOS installed ;)
Honestly I don't know. I limited my battery to 80% max charge, and just changed the idle setting when the laptop is closed
I also adjusted that setting in the bios to a 80% max charge π what idle setting do you have on Ubuntu to decrease battery usage?
