I still think his opinion on it is respectable. His opinion on what art is is not less valid..
And even if his opinion is completely wrong, this is such a small critic that dosen't really have to do with the main purpose of the book and I don't think it deserves to stop reading because of it.
By then I think he’s made all the key points anyway.
I mean other than buy bitcoin, is there really much other information worth taking in? Shells were shit currency, got it. Funny paintings are bad, ok. Buy bitcoin! The whole book is three bullet points really…
I know it’s a very popular book but it’s not it my top reads to be honest, I’ve learned more from his podcasts.
Cussing his book on Nostr sounds like a dangerous move but I don't mean to be intentionally edgy, I just for example found books like The Price Of Tomorrow and The 4th Turning more interesting.
I might go back to it at some point but I feel a lot of the key info is imprinted in my brain.
