Admittedly, #monero #xmr is not wildly popular because privacy isn’t wildly popular. But it’s not a popularity contest. If you want:

1. Default privacy

2. Decentralized

a. Over 11k nodes

b. CPU-mined

3. Fungible

4. Cheap to use (less than $0.01 tx fees)

5. Settlement w/in 2 minutes

…then use Monero. It’s untraceable digital cash, which some people don’t fancy.
