-If anyone needs proof that this isn't occurring look at how many people vote to elect city mayors (outside of NYC and a few megapolises). How many people attend city hall meetings.
People get up in arms for federal office elections but forget that we are a Federal (Federation) Union of States. Plenty Americans will vote for a president in their lifetime but may never elect their state governor, don't even mention their own city governor.
I'm a believer of walk the walk don't talk the talk and that embodies this article.
