It all depends how old you are. 1 would be enough, if you're savvy with it.

If we 100x from here we r all good, if it tanks 80% we just buy more. As long as you are producing value in the world u will be fine. Just work. Produce value.

Would be pretty varied… as an example compare someone who’s 65 & recently widowed to a couple in their 40’s still supporting 2 or 3 kids

I would need $5m in anything to retire.

Why $5m that’s a lot?

It gives me enough to draw 100k a year for 50 years. Of course, I'll spend more of that as I get closer to death, which actually shortens the time frame.

That's pretty conventional thinking. But I'm not sure I quit my job until I have that socked away. Of course with bitcoin, that could be next week, but it won't be in 10 years.

Living for 50 more years…you’re a youngling then 💜

No actually, I'm 54, but when I started this process, that was how I thought. Haven't let it go yet.

@markmoss has a good take on asset based lending and living off your bitcoin. Check his YT video out.

Depends on your timeline. Given a decade, and a conservative budget, 100 million sats should do it.

This is pretty realistic

However much you can reasonably obtain b4 yer ready to retire.

There are lots of variables but it’s probably less than we all think. Mainly because the deeper you get in bitcoin the more it changes your perspective on success.

Fair enough

But at least one.
