Had an interesting presentation at the school board meeting tonight. The lady who spoke was very passionate about getting the school to support a garden program where ideally the school could teach the kids how to grow, then feed themselves with the garden at the school. These things don’t happen easy, but I’m pushing for it because it’s a good idea whose time is right πŸ‘¨β€πŸŒΎπŸͺ΄πŸ“πŸŽπŸ₯”πŸ₯¦πŸ₯’πŸ₯•πŸŒ½πŸ₯¬πŸ…πŸ₯¬πŸ§…πŸ§„πŸŒΆοΈπŸ«›πŸ«‘πŸ

This is great. More of this!

My church is teaming up with the local extension office at the university to offer container gardening. Perhaps you coukd work with your local office to help with info?

There is a great idea! πŸ™ πŸ˜„

In my highschool we'd build (and dismantle) a green house every year. everything was grown from seed, and the starts were sold to families in a bake-sale kind of environment. The money would be rolled over to next years projects.

This would be awesome. Install a greenhouse and heat it with ASICS. Now it’s ag tech and you are probably eligible for grant money. 😎
