🤣yeah, the parenting bits I screw up, I figure are either helping my kids build resilience or giving their screwed adult selves someone to blame or better still something to work on.

I wouldn’t be half the person I am today if my parents had been great parents.

I sometimes wonder if trying to be a great parent is doing my kids a disservice.

Hard to say as the bad parenting model either makes or breaks the kids. It made me but it broke my brothers.

I think it could make my daughter even more awesome but it could break my son… but then again, if my hubby and I were lousy parents it could provide an opportunity for my son to step up and shine.
