This is the annoying strip between two houses. It's shady, because the houses are too close to each other, but can't be watered, because that would cause more damage to the foundation. I had the grade corrected to slope away from my house and covered it with rocks. I'd like to let whatever grows there grow, but there are invasive weeds that make that a bad idea.
