Imagine spending time and money to be annoying when people will forget about you in a week. They could use that and build on Nostr and be legends for decades.

how are paid relays beating wot relay? what's the contest metrics?
because spammers are not willing to pay to use the paid relay but on the wot relays they are connecting to them and trying tactics to trick the trust of the wot in order to spam everyone and some have succeeded
