But the collateral downstream effects of those behaviors have clearly been manifesting in today's society.

It's unfortunate that they started doing that with children. There's so much room and capacity for development and growth in kids that it's the right time for them to process the raw truth instead of sugarcoating it. It's quite sad.

Some of these children are now adults and they "can't handle the truths" be it professionally or in their personal relationships. Brutal truths or otherwise. But Γ§e la vie!
