this is what's great about open interoperable systems! we get to use them at our own discretion!
especially with ecash (cashu specifically), the tradeoffs have always been a LOUD and very present part of the conversation.
been using minibits for > 11 months with no loss of funds, and only once an error which was hotfixed in the same day.
everything is tradeoffs all the way down. that's why we use bitcoin and nostr ye? we see positive tradeoffs to these systems than the current status quo system.
