I was vegetarian for a few years and gained weight due to the amount of carbs I was eating. An omnivorous diet with very low carbs is def best for me.. And is closest to what our ancestors ate.

I always find it strange to read comments like this. Why do people think that a low-carb vegan diet is not possible?
I live a raw vegan diet and practically only eat carbohydrates from fruits and nuts and seeds. No grains, no pulses... Why do people think that low-carb has to mean animal protein?
Probably because it takes more work to get "full" on a veggie diet than a meat-based keto one. I ate a lot of sandwiches when I was veggie. Drank a lot of beer, too 😅
It does indeed take quite a bit of preparation and organization to make sure you have everything you need to not only get full, but also all of your nutrients. Nevertheless, you can easily eat a raw vegan diet. I know that many people who live as vegetarians or even vegans eat a lot of junk food... and industrially produced "food"... I eat super clean! And I also love to dedicate my time to nourishing my body 😉💚
I know it's very tempting, if shops offer "vegan" or "veggie" food...But it's a choice to eat clean 🕊️
