I have an intense dislike for idiots that try to vilify nuclear energy with cheap arguments like the above.
Our societies are re-electrifying at a massive rate and scale. We are electrifying everything from cooking to automotive transport, and the wind turbines only has a capacity factor of some 30%, solar even less.
WE NEED BASELOAD POWER UNLESS WE WANT TO PAY THROUGH THE NOSE FOR ELECTRIC POWER DURING WINTER. And AI datacentres are a minor part of society's electric use.
