Do you think the nostr protocol has been documented well enough, publicly enough, that a small group of people, anywhere in the world, without a lot of tech experience could recreate it?

Or do you think it has been obfuscated through unnecessary complexity by those who want to be of a priestly developer class?

Or something in between? Neither?

I'm just happy I learned how to get ON Nostr. That was a serious learning curve that only my stubborn motivation drove me through.

It was pretty decent. I only had to look at the earliest nips. It was a bit "javascript-y" in its assumptions. IIRC, I needed to figure a few things out that would be better made explicit, but it was okay for me.
