Love this place! thank you nostr for all the feedback. I honestly did not expect voting to be split. I heard good things about both options.
I am leaning towards customers comfort, so I will mostly go for Option B. But this also means we need to solve the bar area a little more. it doesn't feel like its 100% functional.
Option B - allows for more carry out orders for coffee without having dine-in guests disturbed by a line going toward the counter
Seating first for sure!
1. No one wants to walk into a building and be hit with a line of people waiting to buy and then not be able to walk past to get to a seat
2. When the seating (with people in it!) are visible from the outside, then people feel invited to come it and at the very least are intrigued.
Imagine having no customers at the coffee bar...people from the outside will wonder if the business is worth their patronage.
But put the seating first and have people in the seats...then curiosity if peaked.
