Alby isn't trustless and accounts are gatekept. You guys deserve to have your coins jacked.
I personally use Nos2X on Firefox which keeps your nsec client side. I thought Alby’s signing extension did the same but I may be mistaken.
since day one you could use the Alby Extension with any wallet you want. your LND, CLN, etc. if you ever used it you know that.
With Alby Hub now every user even has to and we work hard to make it easy to do so.
so I have no comment on such FUD, which I guess is commonly known as wrong at least to anyone who ever looked at the Alby Extension.
I'd love to see an credible page that let's me install Nos2X on firefox. I can never find it.

Alby... Requiring me to create an account on your infrastructure just to sign into Nostr using your extension is suspicious as hell.
You are only required to connect some lightning node to use the Alby Extension, those are the options. Noone requires to create the account.
I don't want to use Bitcoin or shitty LN. I just want to use Nostr.
then don't use a lightning wallet 😉 there are good other options.
The Alby Extension is not for you then. The Alby Extension is about Bitcoin AND nostr.
I gave them a few. Not worth it, they just want to complain. Mute and move on.
