What’s good node etiquette? How often are you allowed to nag your peer about their neglected Lightning node? How often do you _have to_ nag them before it’s acceptable to force close? If you gifted a channel, can you take it back?

Close it if you need the liquidity. Otherwise wait a while.
I usually wait a week before contacting them. Sometimes they have no clue their node is even offline. If they are actively trying to get back online then just wait. If they’re MIA then usually 2-3 weeks then close on them.
On the other side of this, good node etiquette is monitoring and not going offline for long periods of time!
