I've only used the GPT3 ChatGPT and I'm honestly not all that impressed by it. Would be very interested to try the new iteration though.
You used it for dev purposes? Like coding?
I've experimented with having it write javascript functions, yes. It's useful for quickly generating helper functions, but it can be dangerous in the wrong hands because sometimes it takes shortcuts it shouldn't. Like you should NEVER be relying on something like Math.random to generate a private key.
I can tell you I feel the same.
For me it is just a very excited intern trying to impress me but I never trust the solution given by it 100%.
It's just that, rather than starting from zero to imagine a function, I already start from 60% work already done.

Dope. I try to make an app to give me code snippets directly or maybe a plugin to integrate in VS code directly.
