What's caused this wallet to be so heavily targeted? What is it that they claim to have done?

It focused on privacy via coinjoins and was pretty successful at it.
Interesting, but there are other private wallets that have done the same or similar? Lighting wallets etc.
Just seems strange to target them only and no one else
They were by far the biggest and most socially prominent. Common government tactic is to go for the biggest target in an area of “concern” and hope the rest fall in line from fear. Truth is the government can never stop every Bitcoin privacy focused project/software - they don’t have the knowledge or resources. Same as the war on drugs. But they can try to scare people into not pursuing them for fear of jail.
