Honestly, unless you are a professional user, paying the premium for a #PCIe Gen 5 #NVMe #SSD doesn't really make sense.
If you're a gamer and/or someone who doesn't move large files often, save your money & stick to Gen 4 drives for now. Gen 4 drives still provide excellent performance. You can always consider an upgrade down the road when the price premium comes down.
