Isn’t this a bad thing for potential spam accounts and bots being created?

I don't think it will. FOSS adapts to problems more sustainably than does closed systems.

Yes unless a good spam filtering method gains widespread support

Yes, but that’s why we might want the „orange check” Saylor was talking about one day. Random idea - You might set up a filter - show only users with linked „BTC on chain account” to their profile with funds higher than {amount}, with a possibility to mute adress.

Doggie coin would be infinitely better for this since there are people that can't afford any on chain Bitcoin

Lol, I hope this is a joke.

Why would it be? That would make no sense

Because memecoins have no place besides being food for gambling addiction.

That's a retarded opinion, but setting that aside, how does you believing it make a simple statement of fact seem more like a joke?

Sorry, I'm retarded, I am not able to make sense of your reply. Have a great day. #RetardForLife.

Ok, you too

Hmm, yeah a filter idea would solve the issue. Don’t know about it being bitcoin though, rather not expose any amount of SATS to public eye regardless of small or high amount. I don’t think having a set Bitcoin amount is also a good idea as no one wants to lock up Bitcoin for the purpose of social media. Don’t think that will work in the future anyway.

Filtering is a great idea either way. Something on chain is needed though.
