Made a small new thing based on an old small thing:

I've seen this image pop up on my feed from time to time. It's extremely cool to see a small thing you made find it's way in the world and occasionally comes around and says hi.

Now I made it into a web page, something which I wanted to do for a long time. The dates update automatically, including the halving date estimation, which is based on another script I made, an even longer time ago:

It's cool! I think you should shift "supply" and "percent" columns down by one and put 0's on the top row. It'd make it more intuitive (for me at least).

But then you'd need another row at the bottom (epoch 34, year 2140) and put 0 for reward.

Hmm I can try. There is one more halving from 1 to 0 sat reward. Or maybe a zeroing.

Could see a "fun" variation on this where you enter your birth year and it computes what the block reward will be at the time of your expected passing. I hope to make it to Epoch 12! 😅

Sweet. Copy paste decimals possible now. It was you? I didn't know, I'm a newb. If o may add 2 sats, display has even more real estate so making fonts larger would be great 👍

Last but not least, my mind wants to see NEXT halving easier.... Like some shade or color... I realized it's ~ eventually . Gut feel but only me so ignore if you don't like the idea 😄 👊
