Fountain.fm had a significant update - and it looks good ๐Ÿ‘

This app has my attention- what it needs most is more music content Seems like theyโ€™ve got the podcast realm worked out.

If you know some musicians who could benefit, encourage them to consider this app.

Myles and I are gonna figure how to upload some of his catalog. If it goes well, Iโ€™ll start bugging other musician friends to join in.

What's their policy on AI generated music?

Also, can you mute individual artists?

There's like 5 AI slop generators on wavlake that completely ruin the platform without the ability to mute them.

I donโ€™t know.

Maybe someone can provide a better answer?

I have been meaning to check it out for ages, I'll get around to it eventually.

I think there's at least one more nostr music streaming app but I can't remember the name.

Someone should do some app review videos on here with comparisons.

I ๐Ÿค” suspect if youโ€™ve muted their npub it would carry thru to your fountin app prefs - but I donโ€™t know.

Yeah, with wavlake the accounts that post the songs are based on an email and password instead of nostr. If uploading on fountain is connectesld to an npub it's already better.

The uploads are not connected to nostr because they run on rss

๐Ÿ”ด Christians and Muslims both believe in Jesus, love him, and honor him.

๐Ÿ”ต They are, however, divided over the question of his divinity.

๐Ÿ”ด Fortunately, this difference can be resolved if we refer the question to both the Bible and the Quran, because, both the Bible and the Quran teach that Jesus is not God.

๐Ÿ‘‡ The Bible Denies the Divinity of Jesus ๐Ÿ‘‡

Fountain's library runs of RSS. Fountain has their own hosting option. You can also look at other services like podhome.fm There are other more sovereign options all the way up to hosting your own media and rss feed.

All of it leads to the same place. If you create an RSS feed, host it somewhere and publish to the podcast index, your music will be on every app that utilizes RSS (fountain, v4vmusic.com , podcast guru, lnbeats, podverse, the list goes on.

Fountain.fm could benefit from a more developed way of exploring and browsing the music genres and artists that are available.

Early days, but I see serious progress this last update. ๐Ÿค”
