I can’t imagine. I was lucky enough to travel there back in 07 and absolutely loved it! Beautiful and kind people! (With the exception of those who threatened to hang my friend and I!)

That’s awful i’m sorry…Really good that you went when you could, my brothers can’t even take their american wives to meet our humongous family without worry about the government repercussions

Yeah that’s tragic, I’m so sorry. I was using a Canadian passport, pretty sure that helped me get a visa at the time.

I remember the food was so good. I had just come from a several months long trip to China, and in Asia it’s hard to find a proper pc of red meat, (love Chinese too, just lacking on meat) and Iran was like heaven with the massive skewers of lamb and beef!!

Oh man, now I have to make some kabobs today 😭

🤤 🤤 and that yogurt sauce or whatever it’s called.

mast! i make that every month with my momma

Not a TV in sight. This looks like a fuckin' amazing hang. I now miss Iran too and was never there. When I lived in Sarajevo, I had some hangs in rooms similar to this. I miss that so much. People just looking _right_ at eachother and talking, eating, smoking.

Barely anyone in iran have tvs. if they do, they don’t use it. I wish we could have this in America, but consumption is engrained in our system

I'm open to hosting a party where everyone faradays their phones and has to make eye contact.

this is how my friends & family hang out, maybe it’s just bc i will talk so much that you are forced to interact 😅

Is this a giant hookah? Please explain what I am looking at.

yes that is a hookah! hand made

Wow 🤩

Well you're here
