That's my ideal, but I understand it's not ideal for most people. Freedom takes extra steps.

You're a farmer/rancher, you have freedom from the food supply chain to a larger degree than I do, but you know the extra work it takes. And you need people that don't want to farm/ranch to sell your excess food to. People that support your values can without living your lifestyle.

I see certain podcast hosts in a similar light. They can support my values, though for me, the ideal is to self host.

I'm asking Because I am wondering if y'all have a self-hosted version of this stuff I can package for start9 so y'all can just run this shit alongside your nodes for boosts easily.

How hard is it to access files on Start 9? I've heard it's pretty locked down for security, but maybe I'm misunderstanding.

Music Side Project could very easily be updated to run locally for drag and dropping files and saving them on the machine.

Sovereign Feeds could also be updated to do the same, but would take a bit more time as it's a much older code base and I've learned a lot since then and would probably need to do a rewrite of a bunch of stuff to remove a bunch of unnecessary stuff.

I think I could make it so you basically host a folder from nextcloud on s9 to whatever software, same way the Jellyfin works.
