It's because nostr isn't ready for the masses. It's quite slow at times and lags. The followers list takes forever to load. Nobody wants to sit there and wait for it to load. I don't even get notifications when someone follows me which is important. There is many other issues, not to mention the lightning network is confusing for the masses.

So users come check it out then leave because of those problems.

I see mostly only people who are techy savvy on here.

It's kinda like the early stages of Bitcoin where it was mostly on tech savvy people at first.

I see the potential of nostr just like I saw the potential of Bitcoin and realize nostr is the future of social media. Nostr is going to destroy all of the other social medias.

Nostr just needs to solve all the issues above and make it easier for the masses. I have faith nostr will solve those issues in the long run.
