I’m wondering if CashApp (or their banking payment) is insolvent or involved in Chokepoint 2.0 fuckery. I’m unable to cash-out for weeks now. Their so-called tech support is clearly being intentionally opaque and overtly unwilling to help.

“Not you keys, not your coins” also applies to CashApp, Strike, etc., not just exchanges!

Update: CashApp wasn’t being evil—my situation had a technical fix. I merely unlinked and re-linked my bank account.

So I am relabeling CashApp as ‘support retarded’ rather than corrupted and choke-pointed.

No one on their support team ever considered a technical problem between my account & the bank linkage, and they were happy to leave frustrated with many $$$ stranded.
