It's unfortunate to say but the #bitcoin scene in the #UK is pretty weak. Not much going on on nostr:npub1864jglrrhv6alguwql9pqtmd5296nww5dpcewapmmcazk8vq4mks0tt2tq. The average person I spoke to knew little about it. 👎

I agree but it's not a country with a tiny population, surprised there's not more going on...
Maybe is fear to government? You post in btcmap, someone see that and send the tax man... it's no easy to compliance with the state if you want to use bitcoin. Buy it's just a sensation... I don't know the reality of that society.
Are there any BTC group? that could be the best approach in a new country if you are visiting or passing by.
