Happy birthday, friend. That’s a massive (and very recent loss) and I’m sending you big positive vibes. Losing a close loved one is one of the absolute heaviest things in life. Rest assured that the grief does subside though, as you begin to understand and embrace the new reality. Take heart in all of the positive experiences that you two shared together in life. That good, real energy will always be there to draw from. I’m just about your age (one year north of ya), and I lost my mom 5 years ago and my dad 8 years ago. Both passed unexpectedly and it was heartbreaking, but I know now that they’re still with me in many ways. That energy is real. And again, Happy Birthday 😊🤙

Ok, so I said I was done planting trees this fall, but no. I found this tiny little bur oak tree at a local nursery. They had lots of these that they started from nuts. I couldnt resist. This tiny thing, about 14 inches tall, could live for upwards of 1,000 years. We'll come back and check it then. #trees #gardening #permies #grownostr
